Hello everyone, I'm Jasmin Hernandez, president of the Newman Catholic Club. I am a junior at the University of the Pacific as a Psychology Major. I originally come from the Bay Area so living in Stockton has been a great change! I have met so many wonderful people, especially in the Newman Club.
I wasn't raised as a Catholic and I definitely wasn't strong in my faith. But after a dark period in my life I felt God calling me to Him. The Newman Club has helped me learn so much about Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth, and The Life! I hope you are able to grow closer to God in this community. Hey there, I'm Fabian, vice-president, treasurer, and organist of the Newman Catholic Community here at UOP. I am a junior studying computer science and jazz. I started playing piano when I was around 7-years-old, but I didn't really get into it until I was 13. I began playing at my parish when I was a freshman in high school, and now I play at many different churches around the Diocese of Stockton and Fresno!
I am thankful for the gifts the Lord has given me and that I am able to use them to glorify Him.

Hello, I am an international student from Vietnam. I'm a second-year student at the University of the Pacific studying mathematics and computer science. I have lived in many places and got involved in many parishes and their music ministries. I am the Music Director for the UOP Newman Catholic Club.

Hi, I’m Adalia Lopez! I’m the social outreach of the Newman Catholic Club. I am a biochemistry student for the University of the Pacific, senior. I was born and raised here in Stockton! I absolutely love singing, and the Catholic tigers really welcomed me and allowed me to reconnect with God by sharing my gift with others! I really love music, art, nature, and spending time with loved ones!​
