Newman House Lunch with Catholic Relief Services President Wednesday

Newman House invites you to a Catholic gathering with Ken Hackett, President of Catholic Relief Services, on Wednesday February 13th, 12:30pm-1:30pm.

All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to drop by anytime to enjoy lunch and discuss world poverty and hunger. Instructors may invite invite their students. Newman House is located at the corner of Brookside and Manchester, across from the Cowell Wellness Center and Physical Plant. There is no charge for the lunch. Mr. Hackett will also be giving a free public lecture at 7:00pm at the Pacific Theater. The talk is entitled “Solidarity Will Transform the World: Humanitarian Trends and the Work of Catholic Relief Services.” Much of the lecture will be rebroadcast on our radio program, VOICES, on February 19th. Afterwards you can listen through the VOICES archive.
