Newman House invites you to a Catholic gathering with Ken Hackett, President of Catholic Relief Services, on Wednesday February 13th, 12:30pm-1:30pm.

Every year Catholic Relief services puts on a program to help raise funds for our brothers and sisters in poverty overseas, this program is called Operation Rice Bowl.

All Saints Day is Thursday, November 1st. Newman House will have Mass in Morris Chapel at 8:00pm.

University of the Pacific proudly presents speaker Dr. Deborah Conrad, director of Urban Spirit in Louisville, Kentucky, to inform us about the current issues involving poverty and about how the world works. She will be on campus Oct. 29 to Oct. 31, so join us in this event that will include lots of fun and challenging activities.

Newman House will be launching a new workshop call The Gospel Message.

Are you interested in testing out a disaster relief system? If so, then this is the opportunity for you! The Emergency Preparedness Exercise gives students the opportunity to gain insight and knowledge about how our community would respond to a crisis impacting large numbers of citizens. Would you like to be a production intern for a radio show? Greg has put together an hour-long weekly show on KPAC and would love your help. This is an excellent experience for a communications major in particular! But everyone is welcome to the position. Newman House is now hiring a promotion coordinator and an event coordinator. Both positions are up to 8 hours per week. Applicants must be eligible for federal work study.
